The narrator is a young female diarist who relates a trip she and her sexy classmates take to a beach resort owned by the father of one of the girls. The father lives in a fantasy world where he's an intrepid sea captain. He has also a ridiculously horny bell-hop/handyman who tries to fix the shower while one of the girls is in it or cross-dresses in order to spy on the female guests.

Madame Colette runs a very swanky upper class house of ill repute. One night, crazy Gavalles seemingly kills Francine, one of the more popular prostitutes. He swears he is innocent. Still, a high-powered judge sentences him to death. Gavalles swears revenge on all concerned, and escapes in an attempt to settle his scores. Unfortunately, his neck meets with some construction equipment on the back of a truck, decapitating him. This intrigues a local doctor. If he can get the accused killer's head, he could study the brain and determine the madman's bloodthirsty dementia.

Paul is an upper-class young man who is about to start out at a private college. He has chosen to live with two new roommates instead of living with his girlfriend, Agnes. As a result of this, he gets little time to see her. Agnes starts to find cracks in their relationship when she suspects Paul's attraction to his new roommate, the aristocratic Louis-Arnault. Paul falsely denies any homosexual attraction, but the wily Agnes decides to make a bet with him: whichever of them beds Louis-Arnault first, wins. In this period drama, romance and confusion rule the day in a 17th theatrical troupe. Giovanni Andreini is a playwright who leads the Company of Faithful Comics, a group of performers dependant on the financial support of the Duke of Mantua; however, before he's willing to finance the Company's upcoming trip to Paris, he requests a special private performance featuring the beautful women of the troupe, without costumes. The actresses grudgingly agree, and Giovanni begins work on his latest play, Love In the Mirror. He intends the female lead to go to his wife Virginia, but when a lovely young woman named Lidia approaches Giovanni and tells him how much she enjoys his work, he's so smitten that he gives the role to her. Soon Lidia and Giovanni are having an steamy affair, and this turn of events so upsets Virginia that she leaves Giovanni and joins a convent; however, she comes up with a better idea for getting revenge on her husband by seducing Lidia herself.
A lovely summer day in Paris. Roger and Martine are on their way to work. "Work" is a euphemism because Martine is a prostitute in Pigalle. Black Angel with skin of ebony and muscles of steel who, to the delight of the customers, pretends to be a primitive savage but spends his free time reading Virgil in latin. Coquelicot, handsome and sentimental. The story has a moral ending: policewomen storm the place, search the rooms and create havoc trying to find the salesmen of pleasure. Only one over-curious passer-by who just comes in for a look is subdued and dragged off to jail. The policewomen are happy to have caughtat least one male whore.
